The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and field teams, this individual will help manage project documentation, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project administration. Client Details Our client is a vertically integrated developer-builder specializing in the construction of ground-up multifamily residential communities throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding markets.
With expertise in wood-frame apartment construction, they oversee projects from acquisition and development through construction and delivery. Their growing portfolio and strong project pipeline have established them as a leader in the regional multifamily market. Description As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and contract administration Track and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and ownership teams Support procurement activities and material tracking efforts Attend project meetings and distribute meeting minutes Review construction drawings and specifications Assist with project reporting and forecasting Work closely with Superintendents to support field operations Help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.

Profile A successful Assistant Project Manager should have: 1-5 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or a related role Multifamily, residential, or wood-frame construction experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 (USD).
