Job SummaryThe Shuttle Driver is responsible for transporting guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital or casino and local area in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner using safe driving practices. They assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure and maintain vehicle activity and maintenance logs.
Job Details- Compensation: Hourly base pay range $19 per hour.
- Work Schedule: 10–20 hours per week, part‑time shifts Monday‑Friday.

- Shuttle guests to approved locations; learn pick‑up and destination points; knowledge of property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates, etc. (40%)
- Communicate by telephone, two‑way radio and in person in a courteous, friendly and professional manner with all guests, location staff and co‑workers. Greet guests within 30 seconds maintaining a professional demeanor. Uses guest last name appropriately, salutation of the day and welcome to property. (20%)
- Operate a vehicle seating fifteen people or less; inspect exterior and interior at beginning of each shift; monitor vehicle condition; record and submit malfunctioning items or damage. (20%)
- Protect guest confidentiality per HIPAA requirements; maintain security of client financial and identifying information; assist guests with entering and exiting vehicle; check wheelchairs for safe operation; clean wheelchairs after use; may use specialized equipment such as wheelchair lifts. (20%)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Pass criminal background, motor vehicle record, and drug screen; age 21 or older; maintain valid driver’s license at all times; annual or semi‑annual motor vehicle record check.
- Complete Wheelchair Safety Training course provided by Towne Park as applicable.
- Hold current Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Maintain up‑to‑date license, DOT endorsements, and bi‑annual physical exam as applicable.
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Ability to read and write standard English.
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Effective presentation of information in one‑on‑one and small group settings to guests, clients, and employees.
- Basic arithmetic: add and subtract three‑digit numbers and multiply/divide with tens and hundreds; operation using U.S. currency units.
- Understand 24‑hour and military time systems.
- Understand applicable rates for time passed.
Job is fairly routine. Incumbent follows established practices and procedures. Duties performed with specific directions and work verified frequently. Decisions made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines. Errors in judgment could affect smooth and efficient department operation.
Budget ResponsibilityEmployee has control over resources available only.
Working Conditions and Physical DemandsThe employee frequently sits or stands for extended periods; may run, walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment.
Lifting RequirementsExert up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, or up to 20 pounds constantly.
Working EnvironmentMajority of work outdoors for extended periods, including the entire shift. Employees subject to extreme heat and cold weather. Protective gear may be provided but not guaranteed for temperature changes.
TravelUp to 5% of travel may be required.
