Candidate will instruct students in the Electrical Journeyman 4 BVTi program. Knowledge of the competencies and skills required for students to prepare for and pass the Journeyman exam.

Duration:
September 8 – December 9, 2026 (flexible evening schedule). Approximately 162 hours of theory with makeup classes.

• Responsible for all related theory instruction for the program.
• Monitors student progress throughout the program and accommodates the needs of individual students as they may arise.
• Responsible for the maintenance of individual records for each student.
• Helps to maintain a safe, clean and secure instructional environment for adult learners.
• Analyzes data and student feedback to develop appropriate recommendations for future classes.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code topics such as current National Electric Code (NEC) and understanding the National Electrical Code.

• Possess a Massachusetts Master or Journeyman Electrical license.
• 5 years of electrical experience.
• Share knowledge and experience with the next generation of electricians.
• Demonstrate characteristics indicating an ability to relate positively to students and colleagues.
• Possess an OSHA 10-hour certification for the Construction Industry.

• Based on credentials, approvals and experience, the successful candidate will be paid within an hourly range of $60.00 - $70.00/hour, NTE 162 hours for services rendered, payment contingent upon completion of course content.
• Payment contingent upon completion of all responsibilities, as required to meet program outcomes and approved by the Director of BVTi.
• Payroll Time Sheet invoices must be completed and submitted to the program Director for payment.
• This is a non-benefit temporary position.
