Responsibilities- Provide technical oversight and management for a variety of Systems Engineering efforts
- Develop concepts and requirements, including decomposition and flowdown, within a mature product line
- Develop and design Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
- Optimize and develop algorithms
- Lead multi-disciplinary development across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System
- Collaborate with customers to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
- Perform functional analysis of real-world and test data and conduct trade studies to advance features
- Support and lead internal and external program and design reviews
- Collaborate with other IPT/CPT leads across functions and products
- Support and lead internal research and development for future capability upgrades
- Support system integration and test, including live-fire test events
- Travel up to 25% of time domestically and internationally
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and at least 8 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Air Defense Systems
- Experience managing project financials, scope, and performance metrics (cost, schedule, earned value)
- U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain interim)
- Experience interfacing with external customers and industry partners; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, passionate leader with over 5 years of experience in Air Defense Systems or Systems Engineering (production or development)
- Knowledge of Air Defense systems (e.g., Patriot, NASAMS) and ability to make challenging technical decisions while managing competing priorities
- Existing DoD security clearance; familiarity with Raytheon IPDS or equivalent frameworks and Earned Value Management (Raytheon EVM execution)
- Advanced degree in EE, CE, Physics, Math, ME, or Aerospace
Salary Range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
