- Assess educational needs of youth: develop and implement lesson plans to address those needs, including individualized assignments and training
- Provide instruction with individual assistance
- Counsel students concerning their performance, behavior and/or personal problems
- Organize and/or monitor extracurricular activities if assigned
Note:
Applicant must successfully obtain Teacher Certificate or License prior to employment.
- Teacher 1: baccalaureate degree or less; starting pay $66,726
- Teacher 2: baccalaureate degree & 20 additional quarter hours (but less than master’s)
- Teacher 3: master’s degree
- Teacher 4: master’s degree & 30 hours of post‑graduate study
- Leadership, commitment to excellence, professionalism, strong interpersonal communication skills, good judgment, change agent, excellent customer service, trauma‑responsive, and solution‑driven
- Able to use current technology, including computers
- Interest in professional growth and development
- Knowledge of ODE Academic Content Standards and project‑based personalized learning
- Competent in curriculum building and program improvement in content, methods, and materials
