Description
CNC Programmer / Fabricator
Full-Time / Day Shift
Massillon, Ohio
Responsible for programing and fabrication of cast polymer, solid surface and acrylics. Utilizing various tools and machines including saws, CNC's, routers, and adhesives to perform standard cast polymer fabrication work. Perform fabrication to ensure products conform to quality and manufacturing standards. This position is a combination of fabrication and programming. Sign on Bonus Included!
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
- Program various finish sizes and pieces by sending data to CNC Machines (Kohmo 3 axis/Anderson 5 axis) using Mastercam software.
- Operates cast polymer saws and routers.
- Performs operator-level maintenance on assigned equipment and maintains records of that maintenance.
- Measures and inspects parts during processing and finishing to insure they meet specification within accepted tolerances.
- Performs standard fabrication work including but not limited to:
Finished part assembly, edge preparation, mounting of sink bowls, location of cutouts, and shower base assembly. - Prepares fabricated parts for shipment and/or installation including final inspection and proper labeling.
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Willing to complete drug screen, physical / lift test, and BCI check.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing instructions and customer order sheets.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
