CEM Corporation (Matthews, NC) is seeking a Production Scheduler to join our manufacturing team and play a critical role in planning and coordinating the production of our Liberty Pro product line. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing workflows, inventory management, and hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) – specifically within Production Control modules.
You’ll work cross‑functionally with operations, inventory, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of schedules, inventory accuracy, and timely product delivery.
- Maintain and manage the production schedule for Liberty Pro Systems, including forecasting upcoming builds
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to inventory shortages, discrepancies, and replenishment requirements
- Perform and reconcile physical inventory counts to system data
- Collaborate with mainline teams to coordinate flex team assignments
- Manage production and inventory‑related data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
- Interact with multiple departments (production, warehouse, quality) to ensure seamless workflow
- Document and process quality issues, damages, and obsolete stock
- Support process improvements and perform additional production‑related tasks as needed
- Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), particularly the Production Control module
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel for inventory analysis and reporting
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of manufacturing environments, logistics, and scheduling processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manipulate up to 100 pounds with assistance
- A collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with the flexibility to work across departments
- Experience in inventory control, supply chain coordination, or production planning within a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with process flow in discrete manufacturing
- Exposure to technical or engineering environments is a plus
- Experience generating reports or dashboards from ERP systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
