Our client is seeking a IT Associate Project Manager to join their team. As a IT Associate Project Manager, you will be part of the Project Management Office supporting IT initiatives and software development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, including application development and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Create and maintain project management deliverables such as plans, schedules, budgets, and resource staffing.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their professional and technical skills.
What's Needed?
  • Duck Creek Expertise:
  • Strong working knowledge of the Duck Creek Policy system, including configuration, workflows, and integrations.
  • In-depth understanding of Duck Creek Manuscripts and their customization capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with migrating to Duck Creek OnDemand, including familiarity with its architecture, capabilities, and limitations.
  • Customization Removal:
  • Proven experience in identifying, analyzing, and removing legacy customizations while ensuring business processes remain intact.
  • Ability to implement solutions that align with Duck Creeks out-of-the-box functionality.
  • Project Management

    Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects, preferably within the insurance or policy administration domain.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Technical Acumen:
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to address issues, provide guidance, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Familiarity with policy administration systems and insurance industry workflows is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Preferred

    Skills:
  • Experience with Duck Creek Configuration tools and integration points.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry standards and practices.
  • Certification in Duck Creek technologies
  • Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM).
