Senior Specialist - Package Implementation

• The Duck Creek Skins Developer Onshore will be responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and modernizing Duck Creek UI Skins for Commercial Lines P&C insurance applications.
• This role requires strong hands‑on expertise in CSS, JavaScript, and Duck Creek Express 20 with exposure to Express 30 compatibility mode and the ability to work closely with client stakeholders, offshore development teams, and QA teams.
• This onshore role plays a critical part in design reviews, UI governance, issue triage, and delivery coordination, ensuring that user interfaces meet business usability, performance, and compliance standards.

• Lead and support the enhancement and maintenance of existing Duck Creek Skins, ensuring consistency with functional and design requirements.
• Provide hands‑on expertise with Duck Creek Express 20 for skin development, customization, and stabilization.
• Support UI modernization initiatives and compatibility efforts related to Express 30 compatibility mode.
• Review and guide offshore Skins development work to ensure adherence to UX standards, performance best practices, and coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, UX teams, and backend Duck Creek developers to align UI behavior with policy transactions and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects, cross‑browser issues, and performance concerns across environments.
• Participate in defect triage, sprint reviews, release readiness discussions, and client‑facing technical calls.
• Maintain documentation related to UI standards, reusable components, and customization patterns.

• 7–11 years of overall IT experience.
• 5 or more years of hands‑on experience in UI frontend development for enterprise applications.
• Proven experience with Duck Creek Skins development using Express frameworks.
• Prior experience in an onshore coordination role collaborating with clients and offshore teams.
• Experience working in P&C Insurance Commercial Lines (preferred).
