Position Summary
This position is responsible for scanning documents and accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information from various sources into computer systems. It requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow established data entry procedures to ensure data accuracy and confidentiality, often including tasks such as verifying data and maintaining organized records within the database.
Position Education / Qualifications- Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and data entry software.
- Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Knowledge of Symplr software is preferred.
- Communicates clearly and concisely.
- Interpersonal skills – able to work effectively with other employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other required software.
- Proficiency in document imaging.
- Knowledge of and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Basic skills – able to perform basic punctuation properly and spell correctly.
- Promotes the facility mission, vision, and values by communicating them to others and considering them in developing services, standards, and practices.
- Enter and update data accurately and efficiently into the company’s database and systems.
- Verify and review data for errors, inconsistencies, or discrepancies.
- Sort, organize, and file physical and digital documents as needed.
- Scan physical files and upload documents to Symplr software.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
- Follow established data entry procedures and guidelines.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance data entry efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service to all DHR customers.
- Attend the DHR C.A.R.E.S program, which outlines Customer Service Principles:
Commitment, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Service.
- Light/moderate lifting up to 20 lbs from the floor to shoulder height.
- Ability to kneel, stand, walk, and climb stairs.
- Light/moderate carrying up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to pull, push, and perform repetitive bending or reaching motions.
- Operating office equipment and performing tasks requiring twisting or operating mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and verbal communication.
