Position: Personal Banker McAllen Main 10th Street

Position Overview

Personal Banker – Branch Sales at PNC – McAllen, Texas (Main 10th Street branch). Responsible for strengthening customer relationships and driving sales through a defined customer engagement process.

Responsibilities
  • Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities.
  • Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with ecosystem partners to grow customer share of wallet.
  • Position PNC solutions to generate new revenue and loyalty.
  • Drive proactive sales conversations via outbound calling, service‑to‑sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement.
  • Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
  • Leverage ecosystem partnerships and community centers of influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
  • Educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
  • Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and solve customer problems effectively.
  • Manage risk by adhering to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
  • Participate in branch daily operations, ensuring completion in an efficient and accurate manner.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent; 3+ years related experience or product knowledge for primary duties.
  • Preferred skills include accountability, banking, client loyalty, customer experience, proactive sales, digital awareness, effective communication, and problem solving.
  • Experience in retail lending, selling, and understanding customer needs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within a matrix environment.
  • Background check subject to Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.
  • No specific certifications or licenses required, but additional education or certifications may be considered.
