Overview

Under the direction of the GKAM, this position is responsible for sales growth, executing sales strategy, LKAM alignment, local partnership, identifying needs and matching appropriate product to meet those needs for assigned Global Tier 1 key accounts. This role requires 5+ years of sales experience with extensive knowledge of connectors and an established clientele and reputation within the field. This position will lead commercial activities including, but not limited to: pricing negotiations, agreement interpretation and development of new business with key accounts for full market potential and product acceptance.

This role requires working collaboratively across departments and locals to identify or design appropriate products to meet customer needs. This position is also required to communicate to the regional president on all subjects related to assigned Global Tier 1 accounts. In addition to managing existing accounts, this role is expected to proactively identify, pursue, and win new customer relationships to expand IRISO USA's customer base.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Account Management:

  • Serve as the “one voice” to the customer locally
  • Maintain strong customer communication and support
  • Partner with the customer to find more opportunities for working together
  • Develop and nurture strong customer contacts and positive, proactive relationships with representatives ensuring open streams of communication
  • Local alignment of support roles to customer side
  • Actively be involved in and coordinate to effectively resolve design, quality, production and other customer issues
  • Maintain customer local organization chart and key contact list
  • Strengthen relationship with local key customer personnel
  • Establish customer needs and maintain a customer supplier relationship
  • Increase sales in respective accounts
  • Prepare sales information for customers
  • Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for assigned accounts
  • Monitor (weekly) sales data on a continual basis and communicate trends to top management and GKAM
  • Obtain all information for new accounts to allow other departments to process orders taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.
  • Support the technical and commercial review of the quote packages, kick-off meetings and prepare quote responses
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the key account, including new territories and industries where full market potential or product acceptance has not been established, and communicate updates with GKAM and IRISO USA’s President and Sales Department

Account Performance Leadership:

  • Work with GKAM to create local sales short term and long-term sustained growth strategy
  • Partner with marketing to inform customers of new IRISO product releases and to inform IRISO marketing of new customer technical developments and needs
  • Inform GKAM, other LKAMs and the President of IRISO USA on account performance
  • Utilize the annual GKAM pricelist, competitively price parts to customers while maintaining adequate profit
  • Communicate to GKAM any pricing issues that negatively impact IRISO's competitiveness
  • Collaborate with GKAM to strategically negotiate price downs each year
  • Identify and propose to GKAM any strategic pricing that may have future growth return for IRISO
  • Understand the competitive environment to effectively evaluate sales price and purchase price

Account Communication:

  • Submit monthly reports of sales, volumes, results versus target, current and upcoming programs and budget usage (as applicable) to GKAM and President of IRISO USA
  • Inform GKAM and President of IRISO USA of current projects and developments that may impact their region(s)
  • Actively participate in monthly GKAM and weekly IRISO USA sales meetings
  • Communicate regularly with Sales team and sales support for updates on activities
  • Inform LKAMs of current projects and developments that may impact their region
  • Define the customer's needs, wants and expectations and ensure customer requirements are communicated throughout the organization

Business New Development

  • Proactively research and identify prospective new customers within the automotive and industrial connector markets
  • Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies to engage decision-makers at new prospect accounts
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities and track progress through CRM
  • Conduct market analysis to identify untapped segments, emerging customers, and whitespace opportunities aligned with IRISO's product strengths
  • Lead initial presentations, product introductions, and technical discussions with new prospects
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to tailor solutions that meet the specific needs of new customers
  • Transition newly won accounts into stable, growing relationships through structured onboarding and follow-up
  • Report new business pipeline status and conversion metrics to GKAM and President of IRISO USA on a regular basis
