Job Overview

As a Hydraulic Design Engineer, you will develop the industry’s most effective field installation kits, creating detailed BOMs, drawings, assembly plans, and installation manuals.

Responsibilities

Oversee kit design to ensure it meets customer specifications.

Maintain ownership and accountability culture that promotes error‑free designs throughout the product’s lifecycle.

Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams on designs to deliver cost‑effective solutions for our customers.

Analyze designs to improve product quality while maintaining industry cost‑competitiveness.

Perform quality control checks, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the kit designs.

Use design and modeling software to effectively communicate products or concepts to customers.

Engage with team members to generate ideas for continuous improvement.

Work with team members to ensure the product ships within expected lead times.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited school.
Excellent problem‑solving skills and analytical abilities.
Technical writing experience.
Basic hydraulic knowledge with the ability to follow and understand schematics.
Related job experience a plus.
Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role.
