Software Engineer, Systems Engineer
Location:
McKinney, TX.
- Design, develop, and maintain test software solutions to support product development and validation
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams (hardware, systems, and manufacturing) to define test requirements and strategies
- Lead and guide test software efforts through architecture, design reviews, implementation, and integration phases
- Support multiple concurrent development programs, ensuring alignment with schedules and technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test software and test systems during development and integration
- Develop automated test scripts, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage
- Provide onsite support for system bring‑up, debugging, and validation activities
- Document software designs, test procedures, and results in accordance with engineering standards
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
- A minimum of 2 years or more of relevant professional work experience with test software and test systems during development and integration.
- Experience with standard engineering lab equipment.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post‑start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
- Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
- Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. Specific benefits are dependent on the business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may also be eligible for annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs. This role is a U.S.‑based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
