Electrical Engineer II – Test Software

Location:

McKinney, TX.

• Design, develop, and maintain test software solutions to support product development and validation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams (hardware, systems, and manufacturing) to define test requirements and strategies
• Lead and guide test software efforts through architecture, design reviews, implementation, and integration phases
• Support multiple concurrent development programs, ensuring alignment with schedules and technical requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test software and test systems during development and integration
• Develop automated test scripts, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage
• Provide onsite support for system bring‑up, debugging, and validation activities
• Document software designs, test procedures, and results in accordance with engineering standards

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major.
• A minimum of 2 years or more of relevant professional work experience with test software and test systems during development and integration.
• Experience with standard engineering lab equipment.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post‑start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
• Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
• Knowledge of LabVIEW, LUA, C, MATLAB, Python programming languages

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD.
