- Assist in engineering operations, including maintenance, repair of hotel property, outside grounds, and hotel equipment; perform preventive maintenance and asset protection tasks.
- Maintain property assets by working with the Chief Engineer on preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, routine inspections, and capital expenditures.
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly and positive manner, providing the highest level of service and demonstrating knowledge of hotel property, guest room repairs, and common area maintenance.
- Identify concerns and recommend maintenance solutions, evaluating property assets through preventative maintenance and collaborating with appropriate managers.
- Execute all engineering standard operating procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with the Chief Engineer.
- Work collaboratively with all departments to meet guest needs and contribute to overall hotel operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state, and federal regulations; use personal protective equipment when required and follow incident procedures.
- Plan, organize, and prioritize work duties as directed by the Chief Engineer; adhere to attendance policies and department procedures; attend required meetings.
- High School diploma or GED required; CPO and appliance repair certification desired or ability to obtain property‑required certification.
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Attention to detail, customer‑focused, and capable of performing job duties in a fast‑paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100 pounds regularly.

Salary: $26 – $26 per hour
