Position

Title: MSR II (Branch Sales Representative)

Location: Melbourne Branch, Melbourne, FL

Reports To: Branch Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • 55% Welcoming members, making eye contact, smiling, using name, thanking the member, receiving and processing transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, checks), giving account info, performing maintenance, assisting with products and services.
  • 35% Interacting with members to identify credit union products and services for cross‑sell and increasing usage of self‑service channels.
  • 5% Balancing cash drawer and daily transactions.
  • 5% Performing other job‑related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements
  • Meet established expectations of ELGA's Core Factors including Accountability, Attitude, Communication, Competence, Continuous Improvement & Innovation, and Relationship Building.
  • Provide informed, friendly, professional service to all members and associates through eye contact, using member's name, smiling, listening, and finding correct answers.
  • Handle all transactions in a timely and accurate manner, focusing on member requests and finding cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Maintain 100% transaction accuracy, balancing 100% of the time, analyze errors as needed.
  • Achieve 100% daily/weekly/monthly/annual sales goals, with specific monthly targets for electronic services, loans, shares, and checking account opt‑in.
  • Complete and pass Certification 2 process.
  • Support other associates and take initiative to offer help when needed.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
    • Education: High school education or GED.
    • Interpersonal

      Skills:

      Ability to communicate with members and vendors, providing courtesy and assistance.
    • Other

      Skills:

      Operate a 10-key calculator, typewriter, computer keyboard.
