7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
The Failure Analysis Technician provides first level technical support to the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include providing Failure Analysis on printed circuit boards and product level assemblies using system diagnostics and product-specific procedures for Mack Technologies Florida, Inc. The role reports to the Failure Analysis Supervisor.
What You'll Do- Diagnose and isolate root causes of defective components, sub‑assemblies, and products using test procedures, schematics, diagnostics, and technical documentation.
- Set up and operate complex test equipment while supporting in‑circuit and functional testing across manufacturing operations.
- Control, document, and process non‑conforming materials while ensuring quality standards for work‑in‑process.
- Support engineering and new product development through implementation of test tools, procedures, and technical process improvements.
- Maintain compliance with ISO and job‑specific procedures, participate in quality/client meetings, and assist with training and general operational support as needed.
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of experience in system test and debugging to the component level
- Minimum 1 year of experience with component value identification and other component nomenclature
- Minimum 1 year of experience utilizing troubleshooting tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscope, logic analyzers.
- Capable of performing job function utilizing written procedures, verbal instructions, and visual aids.
- Knowledge and experience working with electro‑mechanical products.
- Knowledge of ISO
9001 and IPC‑610 requirements. - Ability to interpret detailed drawings, schematics and diagrams.
- Business tools/applications knowledge (i.e., Email, Excel, MS Word, etc.)
- Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member.
- Experience with high‑volume work.
- Self‑motivated, ability to work independently and quickly with a high degree of accuracy.
- Upon acceptance of an offer, candidates must be willing to undergo and successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
- All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
- Under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), all employees assigned to this client must provide documentation verifying their status as a "U.S. Person," as defined in ITAR clause 120.15.
