Interior Exterior Building Supply, the number one commercial and residential building material supplier in the Southeast, is searching for Dispatcher/Logistics Clerk for our Melbourne, FL location!

• Assigns drivers and vehicles to convey freight or passengers to assigned destination
• Arrange shipments by checking stock to determine inventory levels, anticipating delivery requirements, and placing and expediting orders
• Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, current status, and answering questions
• Tracks driver assignments and other shipping data in a computer database
• Perform administrative tasks such as arranging transportation methods, and managing shipping schedules
• Ensure that electronic or paper files are kept accurately and up-to-date in order to track orders and answer billing questions
• Assist in inspecting orders that arrive at the facility to identify damage and input information into inventory records
• Handle replacement for incorrect or damaged goods
• Prepare shipping paperwork, complete shipping transactions in supply chain system, and ship products per customer requirements
• Assist with warehouse organization
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 + years of dispatching/logistics experience
• Forklift certification or the ability to get certified is required
• Excellent communication skills are required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office required
