Description
Design, specify and/or develop technical specifications for configuration, repair, operation and maintenance of airplanes, engines, and components. Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions- Troubleshooting assistance, evaluating airworthiness directives, preparing specifications and manuals, and providing engineering consultation and reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in engineering. Related experience may offset degree requirements and related education/degree may offset experience requirements.
Minimum ExperienceFive (5) years' related aircraft engineering experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications- This posting is for a position within the Powerplant Engineering team. Prior engineering experience with commercial high‑bypass turbo‑fan engines is highly preferred.
- A calculus‑based Bachelor of Science in Engineering (or equivalent) is required. Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering is preferred.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills are preferred.
Memphis, TN Pay Range: $6,511.62/month - $10,744.16/month. Internal Compensation Grade
Location & ScheduleDesired location:
Memphis, TN. Employees will be required to work at the Fed Ex location five days a week. Position will close 5 PM CT June 12th.
