Senior Electrical Designer
Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) seeks a Senior Electrical Designer to support the Product Engineering team located in Menasha, WI. The role focuses on creating electrical parts and assemblies for products used within renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets.
Responsibilities- Design electrical parts and assemblies with minimal guidance.
- Assist in the preparation of electrical designs for power and low‑voltage products.
- Collaborate regularly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Industrial Engineering staff.
- Present technical information during design meetings and reviews.
- Create and update 2D prints and 3D models for piece parts and assemblies.
- Develop complex 3D layouts of top‑level and sub‑level assemblies.
- Help develop product Bill of Material structures to support modularity and configurability.
- Prepare Bills of Materials and Change Notices to release components and assemblies.
- Support the creation of technical manuals for operation and maintenance of related products.
- Perform self‑checks to ensure accuracy against established drawing and design specifications and standards.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds and offer production support as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers to integrate components into higher‑level system designs.
- Support service, aftermarket, and installation teams as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of product design experience; 8 years preferred.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, Solid Works, Creo).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience with electrical components and assemblies, electrical schematic generation, electrical harnesses, bus bar design, and power transmission principles.
- Experience in electrical design and drafting, Bill of Material creation, and Change Notice processes.
- Familiarity with fabrication and manufacturing techniques.
Work hours are 7AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. This role requires onsite work at the Menasha, WI office and involves travel of 10–25% as needed.
