About the Role
Faith Technologies Inc. (FTI) is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the Product Engineering team in Menasha, WI. The engineer will design and specify electrical and electro‑mechanical parts and assemblies for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center products, and will collaborate with multiple disciplines to meet design, manufacturability, and service objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance to designers and less experienced engineers in design activities.
- Review technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure proper application of products within electrical and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
- Support design of electrical components and sub‑systems for power/low‑voltage products, including component selection, wire harness creation, and assembly design.
- Perform complex design calculations to ensure compliance with project requirements or review others’ work for correctness.
- Study and understand related government and industry standards.
- Produce relevant documentation: electrical schematics, component prints, assembly drawings, and compliance documents.
- Interact regularly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Industrial Engineering staff.
- Participate and present technical information during design meetings or reviews.
- Create 2D prints and 3D models for parts and components, and develop complex 3D layouts of top‑level and sub‑level assemblies.
- Help develop product Bill of Material structures for modularity and configurability.
- Prepare Bills of Materials and Change Notices to release components and assemblies.
- Support costing activities to ensure pricing targets at the project level.
- Prepare technical manuals for operation and maintenance.
- Self‑check own work to ensure accuracy to established drawing and design specifications and standards.
- Provide technical assistance for prototype and pilot builds and production support as needed.
- Work with suppliers to integrate components into higher‑level system designs.
- Support service, aftermarket, and installation teams as necessary.
- Perform related duties as required and assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical product design.
- Working knowledge of 2D/3D CAD design software (Inventor, CATIA, Solid Works, Creo).
- Design experience with low‑voltage electrical circuits and PLC controllers.
- Electrical troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action experience.
- 8 years of product design experience.
- Experience designing electrical components or equipment within the energy industry.
- Experience with programming languages and controls software.
- Manufacturing and field support experience.
- Proven ability to lead designers and other engineers.
10–25%.
Work Schedule7AM – 5PM, Monday – Friday, with sufficient flexibility to meet role expectations.
Work LocationOnsite at the Menasha, WI office.
