ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, learning the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll also provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinating work activities among project team members and the discipline lead.
As part of a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team, you’ll help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver complete, world‑class solutions for new facilities. Your duties include developing P&IDs, sizing valves, specifying instrumentation, and documenting and modeling design information while ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or another related engineering or technical field
- At least 2 years of experience working with instrumentation and control systems
- Experience in industrial or commercial control systems, including Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA systems, or Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Experience with data center control systems design, commissioning, and infrastructure components
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, or other control platforms
- Working knowledge of common instrument types and applications
- Experience preparing technical specifications, point lists, and design drawings
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas
- Self‑motivated with proven ability to learn quickly and continuously advance technical proficiency
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams
- Passion for critical facilities, infrastructure systems, and construction

The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
