Experience: Mid Level
Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards. The Construction Superintendent will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations at project sites, coordinating with various stakeholders, and supervising our dedicated team of construction professionals.
Responsibilities- Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress and resource allocation
- Create cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials and other project costs
- Collaborate with clients, Project Managers, and other construction management to determine budget and timeline
- Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
- Create schedules for workers and subcontractors
- Hire additional subcontractors and assign work accordingly
- Maintain a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessary
- Make changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlines
- Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in managing commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools.
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
