** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance, access control, or other security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts according to site protocols.

+ Support daily operations by completing routine reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and assisting with directions, information, and other customer service needs as appropriate.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
