Shift DetailsTwo 12‑hour shifts per week (19:00-07:00). Every 3rd holiday. Every 3rd weekend.
Unit OverviewProgressive Care Unit is a 20‑bed unit with all private rooms, specializing in treating complex medical and surgical patients whose needs are not serious enough for the ICU but are too complex for a regular floor. The staff includes Registered Nurses, Nurse Assistants, Administrative Support Staff, with attending Physicians and mid‑level providers available 24/7. The unit is equipped with the highest levels of technology including Electronic Medical Records.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence‑based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and the medical staff. The registered nurse uses the nursing process to develop a plan of care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and family.
Qualifications- ASN / BSN
