Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in solution-led, consultative B2B sales
, ideally within wellbeing, culture change, organisational development, or a related environment.
This role is weighted towards new business development (approximately 70%), alongside responsibility for developing and growing existing client relationships (30%).
As a Business Development Manager, you will:- Drive new business growth through consultative, solution-led sales
- Develop and expand existing client accounts alongside new client acquisition
- Take time to understand organisational challenges and design tailored wellbeing and culture change solutions
- Lead proposals, bids and tender processes from initial enquiry through to contract award
- Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to shape bespoke client solutions
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting and pipeline management using CRM systems
- Represent the organisation professionally in meetings, presentations and industry events
- Proven experience in solution-led or consultative B2B sales
- Background in workplace wellbeing, culture change, organisational development or a closely related sector
- Experience managing proposals, tenders or complex sales cycles
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and understand organisational culture challenges
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Commercially minded, proactive and relationship-focused
- Experience working with HR, People, Wellbeing or Leadership teams
- Exposure to wellbeing frameworks, behavioural change or culture change programmes
- Experience working with complex or multi-stakeholder organisations
- Opportunity to work on high-impact wellbeing and culture change initiatives
