Principal EP Mapping Specialist - CAS

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on the EP mapping and navigation system and all CAS products.
• Educate physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and related procedures.
• Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures.
• Develop and cultivate customer relationships that support incremental business growth.
• Collaborate with the Account Manager, Regional Manager, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
• Partner with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.
• Communicate and coordinate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
• Serve as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding Medtronic CAS products, service, and support.
• Act as a regional champion to share experience and influence others to become proficient in the mapping technology.

• High school diploma and a minimum of 10 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
• Associate degree and a minimum of 8 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
• Bachelor degree and a minimum of 6 years of related work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.

• B.A./B.S. Degree in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a technical discipline with a minimum of four years of work experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
• Proven track record with technical training assignments.
• Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.

• Exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
• Must be available within the assigned territory each day and respond to unscheduled needs.
• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including overnight travel.
• Must drive 25–50% of time within the territory and may require overnight travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance policy.
• Ability to freely move throughout the facility, use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and interact with a personal computer.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for 8 hours per day.

All candidates must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment. Sponsorship is only offered for Principal-level roles and above.

Base Salary: $145,000 – $155,000 (U.S. locations excluding Puerto Rico and specific California locations). Eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP).
