We are seeking an experienced Applications Manager to lead ERP application operations and support critical manufacturing and warehouse management processes within a fast-paced production environment. This individual will oversee ERP application management, process optimization initiatives, system reliability, and collaboration with business stakeholders to ensure stable and high-performing operational systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong ERP applications experience within manufacturing environments, leadership capabilities, and hands‑on expertise supporting warehouse operations, ERP integrations, and application lifecycle management. This role requires balancing technical application oversight, operational support, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement initiatives across production systems.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the ERP applications team, including prioritization, coaching, mentorship, and support delivery
- Oversee day‑to‑day management of ERP environments including incident response, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, and performance optimization
- Ensure reliable and stable production support for manufacturing and warehouse operations
- Monitor system performance, application health, and key operational KPIs while driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner closely with manufacturing and warehouse stakeholders to translate business requirements into ERP solutions
- Configure and optimize ERP modules to improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and workflow performance
- Support Warehouse Management System (WMS) integrations and workflows within ERP environments
- Ensure seamless data flow and real‑time inventory visibility across receiving, shipping, fulfillment, and warehouse operations
- Lead application change control, release management, testing, and deployment activities while minimizing operational disruption
- Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams including infrastructure, QA, integrations, and business stakeholders to implement enhancements and automation initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and system procedures for ERP and related applications
- Manage vendor relationships, support contracts, and third‑party consultants as needed
Required Experience
- Proven experience managing ERP applications within production environments
- Strong experience supporting Manufacturing ERP processes and manufacturing modules
- Hands‑on experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and WMS integrations
- Experience with:
- Incident management
- Problem management
- Change control
- Release management
- SLA oversight
- Strong stakeholder management and cross‑functional communication skills
- Experience leading and mentoring technical application support teams
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience supporting IBM iSeries (AS/400) environments
- SQL scripting experience for reporting, data fixes, and integrations
- Familiarity with RPG development or RPG‑based integrations on IBM iSeries platforms
