Admissions Nurse

• Must be licensed as an LPN or RN
• Must demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and pre-and post-op care
• Must demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology, abbreviations, and spelling.
• Ability to demonstrate the use of various equipment including but not limited to copier, calculator, and computer.
• Ability to use adult learning principles when teaching patients.
• Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
• Ability to relate well with physicians
