Accounting Clerk

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is ideal for a dependable professional with strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting procedures. The Accounting Clerk will support day-to-day financial operations, help maintain accurate records, and assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

+ Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and spreadsheets

+ Assist with invoicing, payment processing, and expense tracking

+ Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies

+ Support month-end and year-end close activities

+ Maintain organized accounting files and documentation

+ Provide administrative support to the accounting and finance team

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related experience

+ Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Excellent organizational and time management skills

+ Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality

+ Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
