Jacksonville is a strategic growth market for RS&H. We're seeking a Senior Architect who is excited to take on a visible leadership role-helping expand our regional presence, mentor talented designers, and deepen trusted client relationships across Northeast Florida.

About the Opportunity

* Play a leadership role in growing RS&H's Building Architecture and Design Service Group

* Work across Corporate, Aerospace, Healthcare, and Science & Technology markets

* Build strong, lasting client relationships in a high‑growth regional market

* Collaborate with a nationally recognized, multi‑disciplinary team

* Have a direct impact on culture, team development, and design excellence

What You'll Do

This is a highly visible role that blends design leadership, mentorship, and client engagement.

* Lead multi‑disciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, and engineers

* Serve as a trusted advisor to our regional and national clients

* Drive design excellence from concept through construction

* Mentor and develop junior architects and designers

* Champion BIM and emerging design technologies to enhance project delivery

* Oversee drawings, specifications, and design documentation

* Conduct design analysis, site studies, and cost evaluations

* Perform quality control reviews and ensure key milestones are met

* Participate in field observations and construction administration

* Partner with Project Managers on budgeting, scheduling, and staffing

* Support business development through proposals, interviews, and presentations

What We're Looking For

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture (NAAB‑accredited)

* Licensed Architect (RA)

* 10 + years of architectural design experience; 15+ years of experience preferred

* Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex projects

* Experience building and maintaining client relationships

* Passion for mentoring and developing emerging talent

* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

* Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

* A creative, solution‑oriented mindset
