Montessori School of Miami Shores is seeking a passionate Lower Elementary Lead Teacher to guide children ages 6–9 in a dynamic, student-centered environment. With over 20 years of excellence and a growing campus, this is an opportunity to lead your own classroom within a collaborative and supportive team.
PositionSummary
- Lead a mixed-age Lower Elementary classroom (ages 6–9).
- Present Montessori lessons in language, mathematics, geometry, and cultural studies.
- Foster independence, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
- Observe and assess student progress to guide individualized instruction.
- Support social development, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
- Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with assistants and staff.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Education or related field preferred).
- Montessori Lower Elementary certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE)
- 2+ years of experience working with elementary-aged children.
- Strong classroom leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Paid personal, sick, and teacher planning days.
