Position Overview

Kendall Christian School is seeking to hire a highly qualified Pre‑K 3 Lead Teacher for the upcoming  school year. This 10‑month position will foster a positive school climate and enhance the educational experience for students. The ideal candidate is passionate about education and committed to upholding the values and mission of our Christian community.

Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or related field.
  • Certified or Certifiable with the Florida Department of Education
  • Demonstrate a mature personal Christian faith consistent with Kendall Christian School’s Statement of Faith and be an active member of a Christian church.
  • Incorporate hands‑on learning and creative instructional strategies.
  • Commitment to student‑centered learning.
  • Develop weekly and long‑term lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic and developmental needs of students.
  • Identify students needing additional academic or behavioral support and collaborate on intervention strategies.
  • Support foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Possess solid communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational skills.
  • Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and safety at all times.
  • Follow school policies, health and safety regulations, and child protection guidelines.
  • Maintain personal and professional development plans to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support classroom and school‑wide goals.
