We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Director to join the Real Estate team in our Client Accounting Advisory practice.
Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Cohn Reznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a Cohn Reznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings.

The Client Advisory Services Team is a rapidly growing division of Cohn Reznick, where we partner with our clients to perform accounting, advisory and technology services. Our goal is to leverage the best staff, cutting edge technology, and efficient processes to exceed our clients' expectations. Our services include maintaining of books and records, financial statement close management reporting, assistance with state and local tax filings, virtual controller/CFO services, as well as accounting technology solution development
A Client Accounting Director assumes responsibility for managing multiple verticals, Senior managers, manager, teams, and multiple clients, simultaneously, with support from leadership. The Director oversees the performance of client service teams and all related activity working alongside with Partners to ensure the professional and technical development of team members, in addition to being front facing and maintaining client relations

YOUR ROLE.
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
* Lead and oversee the Real Estate accounting departments and staff
* Responsible for vertical and client execution, timely delivery of client's work product by team members
* Demonstrates ability to independently perform and assist with complex accounting services for client
* Lead global team with client work and developing skills, including but not limited to:
* Providing guidance and training on accounting principles and calculations
* Handling inquiries from clients and/or internal stakeholders
* Understanding the industries and client challenges in order to provide solutions and improvements to their business and client deliverables
* Look for cross selling opportunities to provide value to your clients
* Timely complete duties associated with managing teams, including but not limited to:
* Ensuring team is
* Meeting goals and benchmarks for performance and execution of client work, such as delivering monthly financials, etc.
* Developing skills for career growth
* Has appropriate client work for skill set and capacity
* Working within budget and time parameters
* Entering time accurately and timely as well as maintaining billable hour goals
* Completing performance reviews, constructively and timely, both written and oral; as well as provides ongoing feedback throughout the performance year
* Complete duties associated with managing clients, including but not limited to:
* Developing and maintaining client relationship, including proactive communications
* Completing client billings timely and assist with the managing accounts receivable
* Exceeding clients' expectations
* Develops expertise in use of all technology necessary for performance execution
* Ensures quality control procedures are being executed and adhered to by all team members
* Identify areas for process improvement for client work and/or practice operations
* Become a subject matter expert for the industry vertical(s) you are supporting
