Job Description & How to Apply Below

As Cohn Reznick grows, so do our career opportunities. As one of the nation’s top professional services firms, Cohn Reznick creates rewarding careers in advisory, assurance, and tax with team members who value innovation and collaboration in everything they do!

Cohn Reznick helps organizations optimize performance, manage risk, and maximize value through Cohn Reznick LLP (assurance services) and Cohn Reznick Advisory LLC (advisory and tax services). Together, the firm provides leaders with deep industry knowledge and relationships, solutions to address clients’ unique business goals and risks, and insight on how emerging market forces can drive opportunity. With offices nationwide, the firm serves organizations around the world as an independent member of Nexia.

As Cohn Reznick continues to grow, we are expanding our sales team with the addition of a Private Equity Client Relationship Executive (CRE) role. We are seeking a Director
-level sales executive who can act as a growth architect for the firm’s most strategic opportunities within our Private Equity practice. This role is responsible for enterprise-level target acquisition, multi-year revenue strategy, and the orchestration of complex, multi-service pursuits. The CRE will partner closely with Sales Leadership, Practice Leaders, Office Managing Partners, Inside Sales, Marketing, and delivery teams to drive sustained growth, deepen executive relationships, and scale best-in-class sales execution across the firm.

Cohn Reznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in‑office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR

TEAM.

You will be part of our sales organization within a structured, team-based sales model that emphasizes collaboration, consistent processes, and professional development.

Within that structure, you will be aligned to the Private Equity practice - supporting local client and prospect activity for a designated geography while collaborating directly with the local Office Managing Partner, other Client Relationship Executives, Sales Leadership, and local industry group leaders. As a Director, you will help to lead and influence within the sales organization across industries, service lines, and regions.

This may include mentorship of other sales professionals and supporting market-facing leaders to represent Cohn Reznick externally. It may also include involvement with other relevant industries within the local market.

WHY COHNREZNICK?

At Cohn Reznick, we’re united by a common mission to create opportunity, value, and trust for our clients, our people, and our communities. Whether it’s working alongside your peers to solve a client challenge, or volunteering together at the local food bank, there are so many ways to find your “why” at the firm.

We believe it’s important to balance work with everyday life – and make time for enjoyment and fun. We invest in a robust Total Rewards package that includes everything from generous PTO, a flexible work environment, expanded parental leave, extensive learning & development, and even paid time off for employees to volunteer.

YOUR ROLE.

In this role, you will be accountable for driving the firm’s largest and most complex growth opportunities. This role is primarily focused on top tier client acquisition and enterprise pursuit execution, rather than ongoing account management.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise level targets and the firm’s most complex, high-value pursuits
  • Own and execute multi-year business plans tied to defined revenue goals
  • Architect and optimize target list ecosystems to support firmwide growth
  • Build, scale, and manage sophisticated Centers of Influence (COIs) (e.g., referral sources) across regions and industries
  • Drive cross-firm collaboration to deliver integrated, multi-service…
