Hospital Medicine - Physician

• Level IV Trauma Center
• Average Daily Encounters: 24 for hospitalist team
• Open ICU with 5 beds
• Rapid Response and Code Teams
• Opportunity to provide care to both hospitalized and Skilled Nursing Facility Patients
• Coverage:
  Day shift (7a-7p)-1 physician and 1 NP/PA;
  Night shift (7p-7a)-1 NP/PA with tele backup
• EMR:
  Cerner

• Board certified/eligible:
  Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Procedures interest required:
  Central lines, Intubation and Arterial lines. Training Available.
• J1 visa sponsorship

Physician Qualifications:

• Vent Management Required. Training Available.

• Certification:
  Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• 1+ years of hospitalist and/or ICU experience
• Day shift:
  Procedures not required
• Night shift:
  Run codes and rapid responses with physician backup. Procedures Required (Training Available): central lines, intubations and arterial lines. Vent Management Required (Training Available).
