- Teachers at Hahn Intermediate teach on two-person teams. One teacher provides reading and writing instruction; the other provides math, science and social studies instruction.
- Hahn is home to Davison’s 5th and 6th grade students.
- Teachers prepare students for the transition to Middle School.
- Must have one of the following endorsements: ZG (Elementary K-5 all subjects [K-8 All Subjects Self-Contained Classroom]), ZP (Upper Elementary, 3-6 grade, Education), ZL (Middle Level Specialization), ZD (Middle School 5-9), or BQ (5-9 ELA).
- Must be certified to teach in the State of Michigan and possess the necessary educational background and certification for the position as determined by the district.
- Deliver effective classroom instruction.
- Collaborate with teaching partner and grade-level colleagues.
- Work with elementary school-aged students and their parents.
- Participate in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities, including staff development and curriculum development.
- Work as part of a building team for the improvement of instruction.
- Be open to continuous change.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrate mental/physical ability and stamina to meet the requirements of the position.
- Maintain a workplace free of alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
