The company is currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer.

The Quality Engineer reports to the Plant Manager. They are responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes, products, and systems meet internal quality standards. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives by applying quality tools, analyzing data, driving corrective and preventive actions. A Quality Engineer plays a key role in maintaining compliance with applicable quality standards by providing guidance and assistance to manufacturing, field installation, and the Daifuku organization.

Responsibilities

* Identification of processes, electrical, mechanical, and welding

* Determination of criteria and methods to ensure process operation & control

* Process improvement resulting in measurable data

* Problem solving and mistake proofing

* FMEA (Process & Design)

* Utilization of Corrective Action System

* Tooling Management

* Conduct internal quality audits

* Compile and provide reports regarding nonconformance/corrective action data

* Train employees in quality concepts and work instructions

* Administrate document control procedures for all quality related documents

* Facilitate internal and participate in third party ISO/QS audits

* Assist with Statistical Process Control Activities

* Assist in application of statistical process control techniques and data analysis for:

* Manufacturing facilities

* Suppliers

* Assist with measuring and testing product

* Measuring techniques

* Test readiness

* Documentation of failures, root cause, and corrective action

* Conduct or assign personnel to perform product/process inspections at vendor site.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Knowledge

* Engineering and Technology - Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
