What You Bring

The IT Operations Administrator plays a critical, hands‑on role in ensuring the reliable day‑to‑day execution of IT services at our Winn, Michigan location, while also partnering with IT teams and initiatives spanning 65 locations across 8 countries. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys being close to the business, solving real operational problems, and contributing to a global manufacturing environment where uptime, security, and responsiveness truly matter.
You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative IT team supporting end users, operational technologies, and modern collaboration platforms, while helping drive continuous improvement and digital transformation across Alamo Group.
What You will Do- Own day‑to‑day IT operations for assigned sites, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of systems and services
- Provide high‑quality end‑user support for hardware, software, network, and collaboration tools, including ticket resolution and peer escalation
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Teams, enabling seamless communication and collaboration
- Manage user access and device life cycles, including onboarding, changes, and terminations
- Support network, infrastructure, and operational technology, working with internal teams and third‑party providers on items such as:
- Network and datacenter infrastructure
- Printers, mobile devices, and shop‑floor systems
- CAD systems, lasers, press brakes, and shipping systems
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers, including procurement, renewals, escalations, and invoice review
- Maintain and improve documentation and processes, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to support endpoint security, access controls, audits, and compliance activities
- Contribute to IT projects and strategic initiatives, including upgrades, site rollouts, and capital planning
- Provide multi‑site and after‑hours support when required to ensure business‑critical system availability
