Job Requirements- High School or Trade School diploma or equivalent
- Industrial Truck License;
Aerial Lift License;
Fall Protection License;
Overhead Crane License - Knowledge of robotics, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical (480

- Machine Repair Program Certificate of Training
- Electrical schematic and wiring certificate of Training
- Hydraulics & Pneumatics Certificate Training
- Plumbing Certificate Training
- Robotics maintenance and/or programming Certificate of Training
To maintain with limited supervision and execute all procedures for machinery and secondary equipment within the facility involving improvements, repairs and preventative/predictive maintenance goals. General facility maintenance including outdoor identities and miscellaneous maintenance projects assigned. This job classification requires a journeyman level of skill and training in the maintenance and repair functions as assigned.
Essential Job Functions- Promotes safety awareness, educates, and enforces all safety rules throughout the facility with the goal set at zero facility related injuries.
- Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly safety checks to ensure that safety related items are functioning properly, light curtains, sensors, switches, etc.
- Perform preventive/predictive maintenance on all facility equipment as scheduled and assigned, including ½ pound to 30-pound blow molding machines, conveyers, grinders, etc.
- Perform skilled hydraulic, electrical, and plumbing assignments.
- Calibrate all machine head and extruder temperature controllers which run all heater bands of the machines.
- Search for and make any necessary repairs on all facility equipment, including ½ pound to 30-pound blow molding machines, conveyers, grinders, etc.
- Perform major repairs to and monitors services to motors, compressors, heaters, blowers, and pumps.
- Install, set up, and integrate new machinery and equipment such as material handling systems, PLC control units, etc.
- Works from and interprets blueprints as they apply to assigned projects; reviews their specifications with the Plant and Maintenance Manager.
- Serve as an electrician in repairing electrical malfunctions and installing new equipment.
- Support the production, engineering and R & D departments.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and computer data. Maintains records of tasks completed.
- Keep work area neat, clean and organized per the 6s standards required at all times.
- Work on Continuous Improvement activities and Kaizen events as assigned.
- Follow all IATF and EMS policies and procedures.
- Attend any onsite/offsite training courses as scheduled and provided.
- Additional duties as assigned by Manager.
