Job Description

OVERVIEW:

Provide individual, family, group, and milieu therapy. Perform assessments and case management duties. Represent Agency to referral sources and function as a member of program administration.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide individual, group, family therapy and case management to assigned case load
  • Conduct intakes, risk assessments and provide support during client crises
  • Develop and present individualized treatment plans and facilitate treatment team meetings from intake to discharge
  • Maintain case records and required documentation according to Department of Youth Services, RFK and Department of Early Education and Care
  • Follow and promote all safety, security, clinical, Department of Youth Services and agency policy and procedures
  • Actively participate in the milieu programming
  • Facilitate dyad and group treatment to residents according to treatment recommendation and as designated by Clinical Director
  • Attend workshops/training related to professional growth to enhance clinical expertise and maintain licensure
  • Perform verbal and physical de-escalation as needed to ensure safety of staff and residents in accordance to Department of Youth Services and agency policies and procedures
  • Complete clinical paperwork in a timely manner
  • Timely entering of client clinical notes into JJEMS/JCATS
  • Maintain resident case records according to Department of Youth Services and Department of Early Education and Care
  • Represent the agency at internal and external meetings in a positive manner
  • Establish and maintain community resources and collaborate with collaterals
  • Act as a liaison between referral source, clinical department and R.F.K.
  • Attend all required meetings: staff, clinical, case meeting, program administration, psychiatric reviews, foster care reviews and school meetings
  • Provide clinical training/in-service to program milieu staff
  • Promote and align agency’s strategic plan into programming
  • Attend and pass required trainings/certifications set forth by the agency and Department of Youth Services
  • Must pass a CORI, BRC and fingerprinting process
  • Provide feedback to employees regarding safety, security and agency policies and procedures
  • Utilize the on-call system as outlined by on-call policies and procedures
  • Provide on call coverage to the program on a rotating basis
  • Implement Trauma Informed Care treatment philosophies of the agency
  • Participate in the annual program review process
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the Program Director or Clinical Director

QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 21 years of age. Master level education (MSW; LICSW; LMHC.) must have license or be license eligible. Experience in residential and/or juvenile justice a plus. Valid driver’s license required.
