Digital Content Specialist

Our Department

The Digital Marketing Team develops and executes the SWF residential digital marketing strategy to position our brands as market leaders, drive brand awareness and consumer engagement while continually improving the consumer’s digital experience. Digital Marketing at SWF is a fast-paced and dynamic group providing a vital role with our work often being the first impression consumers have of our brands. This is a group of technology enthusiasts who are motivated by a passion for providing our consumers a Best (digital) Experience.

Mission

Bring SWF brands to life online through web user experience, content marketing, post-purchase and lifecycle communications and SEO. Craft engaging, action oriented, branded content across our multiple digital channels. This position will increase brand awareness and engagement through identifying data trends and making recommendations for improvement. Objectives

Ensure brand message consistency across web platforms

* Ensure consistency of messages across sites while making each piece of content relatable to its respective platform

* Execute digital brand story telling using thorough knowledge of brand voice and the fundamentals of writing, grammar, syntax, Chicago Manual of Style and punctuation

Plan and execute conversion tests and site content optimization

* Collaborate with the UX team to test and optimize user experience

* Conduct A/B tests to gauge content effectiveness, making recommendations based on those results

* Provide creative content analysis and direction, sharing ideas and giving feedback to teammates

* Collaborate cross functionally to make recommendations and improve content and content consumption

* Measure and analyze content performance, implement recommendations for content engagement/improvement

Execute digital content strategy

* Use data to understand consumer behavior, website user flows and the consumer purchase journey

* Create, manage and maintain digital content including planning, authoring, editing, testing, and improvement

* Work with Marketing leadership to develop, implement, and manage the post-purchase/content lifecycle plan and process

Execute SWF’s SEO and key word strategy

* Develop SEO and key word strategies for SWF brands

* Actively manage SEO and key word strategies to increase brand, product and content visibility online and drive conversion

* Collaborate with creative designers, copywriters and digital team members to execute strategies

Requirements

Education and Experience

* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred with 3-5 years’ experience. Prefer 1-3 years of previous experience in a similar digital content role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Considerable knowledge and experience with writing content for various digital channels and social networks (FB, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.)

* Demonstrated proficiency of all things related to content optimization, including SEO, brand consistency, consumer segmentation and localization, meaningful measurement, content analysis, metadata, and content taxonomy

* Ability to manage and track multiple projects and tasks

* Ability to develop reporting methods and analyze results of digital content initiatives

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

* Solid understanding of web content management systems, experience with EpiServer a plus

* Proficient in Google Analytics

* Aptitude for learning new technology; tech-savvy

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to collaborate with others and work with cross-functional teams

* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

* Possess a sense of urgency and prioritization

* Consistent attention to detail and quality

* Desirable to have a passion and knowledge of interior design/home décor as well as follow these types of brands online
