Consumer Banker IV

The Consumer Banker will work with existing FFB clients and prospect for new FFB clients to deepen client relationships by booking business directly and referring to internal partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banker, Commercial, and Treasury Management.

• Open and maintain customer accounts.
• Run the teller drawer as directed by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling, conversations, and follow‑up.
• Perform daily activities aligned with the First Financial Bank Experience.
• Partner with internal constituencies to provide appropriate expertise for clients.
• Ensure client follow‑up calls occur within the required timeframe.
• Maintain all operational and risk management standards.
• Assist clients in transacting business via branch, drive‑thru, phone, and email.
• Model the approach for peers and coworkers in alignment with the bank’s mission and values.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory procedures.
• Track, report, and communicate business results and activities to the FCM partner.
• Collaborate with District Specialists to execute retail strategies and objectives.
• Attract, retain, and grow core client relationships, meet clients’ financial needs, and provide a first‑class client experience.
• Act as a trusted advisor by adding value and building deep client relationships through the First Client Conversation Model.
• Participate and lead in the First Financial Bank Experience by attending site huddles and meetings to support sales and service activities.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales, service, and referral goals set by management.
• Provide digital assistance and support for clients using the bank’s online offerings.
• Assist the branch team, FCM, and District leaders in knowledge sharing, onboarding of new associates, and improvement of district/region objectives.
• Stay informed and up to date on bank products, processes, and procedures, especially complex ones.

• 3‑4 years of client experience in retail banking.
• Proven success with consultative, needs‑based selling.
• Strong product knowledge in consumer and commercial deposits, investments, consumer loans, business loans, and treasury management.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with consumer and small business credit.
• Comprehensive understanding of the consumer and commercial suite of products and services.

• Occasionally lift and carry up to 20lbs.

• Frequently sit, stand, and drive.

The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes all Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements, as well as all other lending and deposit compliance requirements.

Pay Scale:$23.56/hr–$28.37/hr
