Billing & AR Specialist Job Midland area,Texas USA,Customer Service/HelpDesk

Permian Basin Chemical Plant seeking a Billing & AR Specialist in Midland on a temporary basis (estimated 6 months) .

Job Duties:

Oversees electronic invoicing process and procedures, troubleshoots problems, and ensures accurate invoices are provided to customers.
Supports process improvement initiatives by creating documentation and training materials for some of our Order and Invoice processing procedures.
Creates customer invoice packets and is responsible for their distribution following their AP processes.
Support customer account onboarding and maintenance
Monitors customer invoice statements, resolving customer inquiries and disputes
Handles other general accounts receivable functions as assigned.
May train others on invoicing processes and procedures.
Answers incoming calls to the customer service team.
Receives customer and sales inquiries and complaints.
Answers questions and provides information about services.
Clearly and accurately documents issues.
Resolves customer inquiries and communicates resolution to customers.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of administrative and data entry work experience.
Microsoft Excel experience (formulas, pivot charts/tables, and lookups)
Proven ability to fax, scan, and manipulate PDF documents.
Ability to operate effectively in a high-volume and geographically diverse organization.
Pass drug/alcohol testing and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

MUST have working knowledge collecting on past due AR balances
EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), ADP, Open Invoice, Ariba, Enverus platform and/or Oracle experience are a plus.

Salary:

$24.00 to $26.00/hour DOE

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexible)
Last day of the month, closing books and may work until 9:00 pm
