Job DescriptionThe API / CWI Inspector is responsible for inspecting and assessing equipment integrity in compliance with applicable API / ASME standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, keen attention to detail, and effective communication skills to coordinate with project teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections on pressure vessels, piping systems, storage tanks, and other equipment per ASME and API standards (API 510, API 570, API 653).
- Perform visual inspections, non‑destructive testing (NDT), and detailed assessments.
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports documenting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate inspections with operations and maintenance teams to ensure minimal disruption.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance regarding equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Support continuous improvement in inspection processes and quality management systems.
- Current API certification (API 510, API 570, API 653) or CWI certification required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing API / CWI inspections.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, NACE, etc.).
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Strong proficiency in inspection equipment and software.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Additional certifications in NDT methods (Level II or III).
- Competitive Hourly Rate or Day Rate.
- Per Diem when approved by Client Customer.
