The Department of Earth Sciences is accepting applications for temporary part-time instructors to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Emergency Management in online (synchronous and asynchronous) and in-person formats in the courses listed below.
* Emergency Management Planning
* (Graduate Level - Synchronous online)
* Disaster Response and Recovery
* (Graduate Level - Synchronous online)
* Emergency Management Planning
* (Undergraduate - In-person)
* Disaster Response and Recovery
* (Undergraduate - Asynchronous online)
Please note:
The Earth Sciences department at times needs temporary part-time Instructors to fill in for faculty on sabbaticals or other leaves. The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed and qualified candidates for various courses will be contacted for an interview process.

* Copies of registrar-issued transcripts for all degrees conferred and in progress.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Earth Sciences is accepting applications for temporary part-time instructors to teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Emergency Management in both online synchronous and in-person formats. The Earth Sciences department at times needs temporary part-time Instructors to fill in for faculty on sabbaticals or other leaves. The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified faculty.
Applications submitted will be reviewed and qualified candidates for various courses will be contacted for an interview process.
Part-time faculty members shall maintain a prorated number of office hours each week, at a minimum of twenty-five (25) minutes for each workload hour taught, on such days, times and locations as will accommodate the needs of the students.
Some positions require online instruction, and do not require presence on Millersville University's campus. Some positions require in-person instruction on Millersville University's campus. This position is contingent upon sufficient enrollments in assigned classes.
