Job Summary
Summary:
The “Process Engineer” will be based in ……., reporting to …… in charge for process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to hold up a manufacturing organization.
- Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.
- Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.
- Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process, singly or with other engineering stakeholders.
- Participate in daily production activities and resolve daily issues.
- Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.
- Oversee new process equipment production and introduction of engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.
- Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.
- Troubleshoot process related issues.
- Participate in cycle time and process improvements.
- Evaluate and select engineered materials.
- Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.
- Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
- Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques to improve in‑house capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Review processing methods.
- Interface with production for new process implementation and transfer.
- Assist in training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
- Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.
- Guide cost improvement/reduction programs.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.
- Typically requires at least 2 years of experience.

Pay Range (Applicable to California): $98,700.00 USD - $ USD annually.
