Our client, a leader in circuit board manufacturing, is looking for a Quality Technician for both day and night shifts. Our qualifications include 1‑2+ years of quality tech or quality inspection experience, preferably in the electronics manufacturing industry. An Associate's degree or relevant experience is required. Job is located in Milpitas, California. It is a contract position with a salary of $28–30 per hour and work hours from 7 am to 3 pm.
Responsibilities- Perform advanced First Article Inspections (FAI) and Out of Box Audits (OBA) by interpreting intricate engineering drawings, schematics, and formulas to verify mechanical and electrical requirements.
- Audit manufacturing areas for process integrity and ensure strict adherence to documentation, training, and specialized handling practices such as ESD safety.
- Collect and evaluate Statistical Process Control (SPC) data, create quality charts, and download system data to validate that production remains within reliability standards.
- Conduct root cause research for internal and supplier defects, manage the MRB (Material Review Board) for rapid scrap disposition (within 24 hours), and confirm corrective actions are effectively implemented.
