Based in Milton Keynes | Regional patch kept within 1.5 hours from home

£23 per hour based on a 40 hour week. All travel time paid outside of the 40 hour week (door-to-door). Overtime over 50 hours paid at time and a half. OTE from £59K+.

A leading Facilities Management company is looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join their growing team working across care homes and pub chains throughout the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Gas Engineer seeking a stable, long-term role with excellent earning potential, paid travel, and a well-managed local patch.

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repairs across a portfolio of care homes and pub chains.

• Servicing and repairing commercial and domestic gas appliances
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive breakdown response and fault finding
• Working across care homes and hospitality sites
• Ensuring all work complies with current gas safety regulations
• Completing paperwork and reports accurately
• Providing excellent customer service on client sites

• £23 per hour up to 40 hours, £34.50 over 50 hours
• 40-hour contracted week
• All door-to-door travel paid on top
• Any Bank Holidays and Sundays paid at double time £46 per hour
• Company van and fuel card provided
• Regional work kept within approximately 1.5 hours from home
• Optional personal mileage scheme available
• Overtime opportunities available
• Stable, long-term Facilities Management contract work

• ACS Commercial & Domestic Gas Qualifications
• CCN1
• CENWAT
• CODNCO1
• CIGA1
• Experience with in Facilities Management preferred
• Experience working within commercial environments such as care homes, hospitality, or retail
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
