Karmax Heavy Stamping offers an exciting position for a Tooling Engineer in Milton, Ontario. Dive into an engaging environment focused on developing cutting-edge automotive technologies and tooling solutions.
In this role, you'll provide vital support for tooling projects and collaborate closely with Program Managers. Your technical skills and project management experience will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective tools. You'll also engage in die design reviews, sampling, and various continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support quoting and technical assessments for new products
• Conduct tool shop visits to verify production schedules
• Collaborate with teams on die design and specifications
• Coordinate tool tryouts and maintain safety standards
• Contribute to CI and lean manufacturing processes
Requirements:
• 5+ years of Tool and Die making experience
• Expertise in CAD and measuring tools for automotive use
• Background in project management or leadership
• Ability to read technical drawings and industry specs
• Flexibility for international travel to support projects
